After spending two nights in Todra Gorge we set off (a month late) for the Sahara sand dunes - yeah!
Remember, Houssaine made arrangements to hire that car and driver for two days. Well, did he ever get a deal. Seems that the man works for a car rental company in Ouarzazate and had been sent to Todra to pick up a rental car that tourists had rented and dropped in Todra. Just our luck. The deal was that I would pay for fuel which turned out to be less than $40.00 Cdn. and give the driver just under $30.00 per day for two days. No charge for the car!!! AND we had private transport for two days right back to our respective doors. A good deal too for the man because he got to have a Sahara dunes experience right along with us.
