The Cure

There is a legend here in Todra about a cure for infertility.  It is said that if an infertile woman bathes in this sacred water on a Sunday, she will become fertile.  On Sunday mornings women will come and bathe in this water, fully clothed.  Then change into new garments- out with the old and in with the new.  It is always on Sunday because that is the end of the week.  When I asked if the men ever performed this ritual, I was told that the men are never infertile!!!
