Linda and I had decided to each do our own thing for the day. She headed off to the Mosque (I had already been there) and I set about exploring the immediate area. I stopped for breakfast at a juice bar and had the most wonderful drink - avocado juice with a dash of o.j. I know it sounds horrible, but was just delicious.
By afternoon more and more people came to Moulay Abdulla and there were vendors selling new year hats and other items.
We had a late lunch - pizza! But, what good pizza, nothing like pizza hut. Next to our hotel there was a group of people all dressed up and playing some instruments as they made their way into the building (photo attached).
